Parent Portal FAQ’s:
Q: What do i do if I forget my username and/or password?
A: There is a link on the login screen that says “Forgot Username or Password?”. If that does not work, you can contact the school office and we can help reset your login information for you.
Q: What is the district code (this applies when using the Powerschool app)?
A: The district code is FDJS
Q: Can I have all of my kids on one account?
A: YES! Just ask your child’s school for an Online Powerschool Portal letter which will provide you with your child’s unique Access ID and Access Password. If you are having trouble with this, please contact the school your child attends and ask them to attach your child to your account. The school can only attach kids that attend the school you are contacting. If you have multiple children at multiple schools and need help adding them all to one account, you will have to contact each school directly.
Q: Do students have access to the Parent Portal?
A: YES! Every student has a unique Username/Access ID and Password that is assigned to them to access their account. Students do not need to create an account like parents do, they just login with their assigned username and password. Students CAN NOT change their username or password. The student account is very similar to the parent account, it shows the student their current grades, completed and missing assignments, attendance, etc.
Q: I’m having issues accessing information using the Powerschool app.
A: We are sorry you are experiencing issues using the app. The disclaimer on the Powerschool Parent Portal login screen states: “Mobile Users: The PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal App currently available in Apple / Google Play stores has very limited ISD functionality. To ensure the best possible user experience, we recommend that mobile users access the ISD Parent/Student Portal through the login on this web page and avoid using the PowerSchool managed App.”
